BSNYC Friday Fun Quiz!

Guess what?

School's closed on Monday again.

That means so am I.

Yep, that's right, no post here on Monday the 12th.  However, I'll be updating the Bike Forecast in the meantime, and I'll be back here on Tuesday the 13th with regular updates.

And now, I'm pleased to present you with a quiz.  As always, study the item, think, and click on your answer.  If you're right you're right, and if you're wrong you'll see roadie freestyle.

Thanks very much for reading, ride safe, and ride safely.

Really? Podium? I thought the track stand was pretty sweet, but his bunny hops are weak.

Only in Mid Town would you see such a get up. said...

Three pints last night, won't even look at the quiz. That costume, or kit, looks like a reverse wedgie, wicked on the man junk. Might as well just put it all in a vice and screw it shut. And sitting on a bike seat (of course I meant saddle), how do they say forget about it in Brooklyn?

BamaPhred said...

Wanted to see bikeskillz guy take a header off that bike sooooo bad. Scranus.

Lieutenant Oblivious said...

Top ten Scrani and I read it and passed (barely) the quiz!

Oops, guess I need to refresh when I get to the bottom. Wonder if I'll see any of those Wal-Mart bikes in the Black Fly tomorrow.

Walmart bike page has neosporin and BandAids as related products. Take from that what you will about the "gravel" bike.

I'm opening a private school and it's going to be closed six days a week. Bloggers everywhere will want to send their kids there.

BamaPhred - Glad I'm not the only one!

I like how the quiz crossed over to the TA - cross-selling free content!

That bonus video; they kept crossing the yellow line, I thought a semi was bound to get them, or at least a SWAT Team of cops would give them a ticket.

Ride safe all because think of the children, seniors, NYPD, pizza rat, and all fellow New Yorkers.

I stop at red lights and stop signs... because I'll have a fucking stroke if I ride too long!
All this new infrastruk-cha and bike lanes etc (the 2 way Christie Street lane to the bridge is nice) guilts me into following rules more nicey nicey. Let's face it, where the fuck am I going. Oooo, Strava said I have a personal best on Delancey because I passed a big fat red light. Who gives a crap.
Shoal me all you want, I can't catch you any more. Well, some I still can.

Watching for the moonrise for pix yesterday and I thought there would ust be a big fat grey and white sky. All my shit plus the Nikon (you pronounce it neekon if you're in the know I found out) and gorilla pod. Then crossing into Brooklyn the fucking sky turns all crazy red yellow purple magenta and a few colors they didn't name yet.
Made it up to the top deck of the Home Depot parking lot in/near Red Hook for some height.

Gowanus canal all orangy (from sunset, not oil/pcb/dredging/sewage/storm runoff etc).
Hopefully there will be a decent moonrise tonight.

So today the orange took a step towards the peach word

If he testifies he will become a peach because he lies and will get caught
And as they say here in the swamp - it's not the crime it's the cover up

Or maybe it's just a conspiracy

Wow that Lotus is something. "I rode it around my block once," I guess we all need a hobby. Most of us don't spend thousands restoring exotic bicycles meant for one race. That would be silly right?

Alice Cooper said...

School's out

Lieutenant Oblivious said...

Would that Craigslist Lotus be considered a lower case "r" foil?

Lieutenant Oblivious said...

or a "z" foil when viewed from the nondrive side?

Pist Off said...

Re the Lotus, I'd call it a "why" foil but I'm pretty cynical about biek racing

I saw this brake out in front of the library yesterday on a free-spirit ten speed:

Do you really live in NY? Or Nigeria? Do Schools close so oft or do they charge you p/day and we did not buy enouf of your books?

BikeSnobNYC said...

Cozy bysticle,

The New York City Department of Education publishes the schedule online if you're genuinely interested in when and why the schools are closed.

Too late. I was on a blog abstinence crisis and I already asked the public library of Fredonia to order 7 copies off your 7 books.
Are schools in NY better than NJ (according to OECD / PISA evaluation)?

I would give my right testicle for that Lotus..of course it is the smaller of the two (nuts) and I've had a vasectomy
