This is my final day in the Golden State, or the Sunshine State, or whatever the hell it is they call themselves, and I will be spending it returning various bikes to various places and wondering why I live in New York.

As for myself, one of my bikes is a 1980-ish Chinook (Bruce Gordon production bike, not custom)with recent-ish Campy gruppo. Plus I am old.

ReplyDeleteTo truly enjoy the Eroica experience, I suppose you have to take up smoking, fill your bidons with vino, and grow a luxuriously full bush. Can you clip a pocket watch to a vintage jersey? I don't know if the Velominati addresses that.
