  3. Perfect score on the quiz.

    I'm riding the Virginia Creeper trail with my children soon. On Zwift. So I need that bionic jersey. I hope it is priced over $250. That's how I'll know it works. Thanks.

    So, reCAPTCHA just asked me to identify all the cars. Two quizzes in one day? Come on!

  10. I'd rather be riding my bike in a too narrow bike lane, in 5 o'clock traffic, uphill into the wind from my house to edge city then waste what little time I have left on this orbiting madhouse by riding an indoor bike in fake rain. But hey, that's just me.

  16. Wow, thanks for the quiz! Well curated and presented. I didn't ace it completely, but then I'm a foreigner and don't understand all things Murkan. The inside rainshirt video had me absolutely nonplussed. Does it come with a complementary body slave to pour water on you? But its pitch towards gullible blokes who thinks their performance is instantly improved by expensive kit, is on point. On another note, I'm sorry people are calling you a hipster, Snob. I first learned of this quirky species of hooman on this very weblog, and also of the wondrous qualities of the fixed-gear bicycle. Much head-shaking snark was extracted from that unapologetic fountain of pretentious stupid, over the years. So it's doubly unfair that witless d-bags would slap that label on you. Lastly, praise for your Outside article on getting out of the house to ride. It was benevolent and interesting, albeit with a few nice low kicks sprinkled in between. Keep up the good work, Snob.

  17. I believe number eight should have a fifth correct answer of 'All of the above', as well as the fourth option being "Why is EVERYONE BUT ME such a fucking hipster?"

    Obliviously hypocritical self-obsession, can't get much more murikin than that.

  18. seems to me that as snobbie stated (and eye quotes) "Great news! The biplane has landed"

    that --The Biplane is an acceptable answer for number 6

    i mean really. are we trying to educate here? or just playin' "gotcha"?

    mister leroy;

    thanks for info on al spinks. i'm always find the backstory of a snobbie post most interesting.

    Wow, not only did I get three wrong on the quiz, I didn't even take it until today so I probably get an incomplete. This irregular posting schedule has totally thrown me for a loop, I am starting to forget that I need to check for updates. Maybe it's time for me to move into the 21st century and figure out how to do a google alert or something!

    I wonder if now that there is an irregular posting schedule if you'll be telling us that posts will be suspended whilst you are participating in L'Eroica?

  22. More pics of my 1983 Trek 970 restoration/rebuild. Vintage road bike porn seems appropriate given L'Erotifornia is coming and our illustrious host is going.
    (thanks for letting me pimp some pics here Mr. Wildcat sir.)
